If you like Brian Wilson, this movie is for you,

if you don't, rack off, no one cares what you think anyway.

If you liked Robocop you'll like this, plenty of gun play (why don't they have lasers?) Plenty of space ships, plenty of aliens, and plenty of excellent FX, what else could you ask for.

The only disappointing thing about this movie was the fact it didn't have the

"woo hoo" song like in the preview.
